Want2Dance offers the opportunity for people to get dancing at venues across the Midlands. Want2Dance teaches and encourages Modern Jive. Modern Jive is a partner dance where the basic steps can be picked up easily by people of all ages in just one evening, so that whatever the music if you are at an event and there is music playing you too can get up and dance.
Why Want2Dance? - we are a small group of people who love modern jive dancing and who want to encourage others to enjoy dancing too. In the past there has been very little opportunity to dance on a Monday. We thought we would give new and experienced dancers in The Midlands the chance to dance on Mondays at an excellent air conditioned venue.
Want2Dance (Birstall) holds classes for beginners and intermediates every Monday from 8:00 to 10:30pm with a freestyle session following the lessons for everyone to put what they have learnt into practice. Come along enjoy good company, good exercise have fun as well as having a licensed bar on site too.
You are assured of a warm welcome, where the team will quickly help you feel at ease and explain the format of the evening. We remind people that we have all been Beginners once, and remember what it feels like - so just relax and try not to take it too seriously!
Come along and enjoy a great social evening, meet new people, benefit from a good cardio-vascular workout (without even realizing it), dance to some superb music - and most of all, come and have a lot of fun!
